  • 摘要:While constructing the DTM,it is necessary to filter out a large amount of information about the objects present on the terrain surface,representing typical land use and cover features – buildings and vegetation. The important economic and research branches need possibly detailed information regarding the structure of land cover. Hence,it becomes clear that currently developed methodology for construction of DSM needs a more analytical approach than the present one. The spatial variability of land cover causes that unified rules for the different landscape elements are useless. There should be an accurate analysis of spatial distribution of objects and also characteristics of their representation described in LIDAR data . Collecting such information will allow the spatial variable rules to be applied for processing of the LIDAR data clouds for both,DTM generation and for surfaces representing vertical structure of vegetation and other land cover objects. The paper presents results of the research on spatial distribution of the point clouds for different landscape objects,in two moments in a vegetation season. The first and last echoes were used. The results obtained suggest resorting to discussion about some opinions existing so far.
