摘要:In Poland,several projects aiming at the acquisition of digital reference data have been recently developed: The General Geographic Database,the VMap Level 2 Database and the Topographic Database (TBD). Elevation data,such as direct surveying data,digital terrain model or contour drawings,recorded in a digital form,are important components of each of those databases. The digital terrain model was also the main subject of other projects,which have been recently developed in Poland,such as: LPIS and SMOK. In the article,the comparison of components of the TBD Databases (i.e. TOPO and NMT data) was performed,rules of acquisition of common elements were proposed and some differences and possibilities of modification leading to real cohesion of those components were also discussed. The elevation data model (NMT) was defined and developed; it considers the demands resulting from the principles of the TOPO component development. Then, the existing TOPO component was processed based on such model. The concept of the so-called universal NMT model,which meets the accuracy requirements of the TBD,LPIS and SMOK projects,was also developed. The universal NMT model,presented in the article,allows more comprehensive utilisation of elevation data in other TBD components (TOPO and KARTO).
