摘要：The need for information flow in GIS requires creating information models which are generic and software-independent. Conceptual modelling is the base for consistent implementations of different tools and software,and guarantees an efficient information flow between such implementations. The surveying components of SDI,which are the reference data,are understood as such products of surveying activity whose specifications,methodical,technical and technological,quality,legal and other requirements are set out in the instructions and guidelines of the General Surveyor of Poland. In particular,products whose instructions are not defined in formalised IT information systems,are covered. The present paper covers not only certain implementation aspects of conceptual models of geographic information,but also the issues relating to the integration and harmonisation of solutions, contained in the instructions of the General Surveyor of Poland,with the normalised principles of creating applications schemes for individual SDI thematic domains,in accordance with ISO 19100 standards and standard schemes (e.g. temporal,quality,geometry,topology,spatial referencing) and metadata.
