摘要：This paper presents problems related to the applications of SAR interferometry and its newest branch Persistent Scatterers Interferometry in geodynamical research of selected areas in Poland. Three study areas of “Warmia”,“Podhale” and “Otmuchów” were characterized. The methodology employed was described and problems associated with analysis and interpretation of PSInSAR data were highlighted. Due to technical problems with large data processing,only some smaller areas were processed. In all cases,the resultant PS densities were high and thus allowed further analysis. However,in the recent stage of the project,the detection of deformation was possible,but its detailed interpretation is still very difficult. The preliminary interpretations show that,in some cases,the processed area was too small and the data needed reprocessing. It was shown that,in case of geodynamical analysis,the data cannot be interpreted separately,without in-depth knowledge of PSInSAR processing and the parameters applied. The authors hope that PSInSAR data will significantly improve the knowledge on recent dynamics of the Earth crust in Poland and give an input to verification of geophysical models and hypotheses.
