摘要：This paper presents research results concerning the use of terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) for creating an urban green inventory. The research was performed in Krakow`s city-centre Planty park. Firstly field measurements were made to collect information about tree positions,dbh, height,crown base height and crown area. A Faro LS 880 laser scanner was then used to collect 13 point clouds. Single scans were then joined in Faro Scene. After that Terrasolid software was used to filter and classify the point cloud. Slices in several options were generated and were used in further analysis concerning tree position,dbh and single tree crown modelling. The results confirm the high accuracy and reliability of measurements based on the LIDAR data collected. The measurements are repetitive and objective.
