摘要:Both the increasing availability of laser scanning techniques and the density augmentation of airborne laser scanning data contribute to the growing interest in building 3D models that are created on the basis of laser scanning data. More often 3D building models are being created for the management, administration, spatial analysis and promotion of the city or region. In this paper the modeling accuracy of the Silesian Piast Dynasty Castle in the Brzeg city was performed. The model of the castle based on airborne and terrestrial laser scanning data was built at the Opole Voivodeship Marshal's Office request. This data were obtained respectively by ScanStation 2 scanner with a resolution of 2 cm on the object and by Riegl LiteMapper 6800i system with resolution of 12 points per square meter. Modeling was performed at the level of detail LoD3. It means that details, both on roofs and walls of buildings were included. Textures were created on the basis of digital photos and converted with use of projective transformation. For modeling the Cyclone 7.1 software and developed in the Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformatics software for texturing and data conversion were used. Accuracy assessment was performed on the basis of independent field measurements of modeled object’s selected elements (characteristic points). Measurements were made with use of the reflectorless tachymeter basing on the independent geodetic warp established by RTK technique. The calculated coordinates of these points treated as error-free were compared with the corresponding points of the model. As a result of comparison the following mean values of deviations were obtained: 0.14 m for the vector components,0.13 m for the texture components. The obtained values show that created models in terms of accuracy satisfy the assumptions of LoD4.
