摘要：The theme of the present work demands an attentive research of all the volumes of short stories written by Mircea Eliade from his young age until the end of his life. One of these books was published in France in 1977,with the title “În curte la Dionis” (“Chez Denys en sa cour”). In Mircea Eliade’s prose the categories of time and space are almost such important as in any philosophical system. The manner of treating them is,however,very different. They have no linearity and continuity. The discontinuity of time and space is visible all over but it is difficult to follow it along so many texts. That’s why our references regard only a few of them. This discontinuity is put in connection with other domains,concepts and ideas like mystery,spirit,reality,philosophical notions,various religions,folklore,illusions,superstitions etc. The aim of our study is exactly the analysis of the literary modes of realizing the time and space discontinuity in some of the most valuable of Eliade’s short stories.
