摘要：As a living organism,language is subject to 'the test of time passage'. During the 20th century,the Romanian language passed through several reforms,which left their marks on the written texts of that time. For around a century,Proust's translations allow the identification of the norms,which were in force at the moment of their production,and this is an infallible tool for the linguists to establish their dating. Thus,there are three categories of production translation-introduction,re-translation and adaptation. In the text,it is obvious that the author made his utmost effort to reconcile the foreign and the national elements.
