摘要:The article discusses the new lexemes brought about by the advent of the European Union and the euro in the lexis of business English (and not only). The lexicographic evidence collected from an extensive business English corpus is then sorted out in order to build up a complex euro-based semantic network. The incomplete reflection of these recent coinages in English dictionaries is finally illustrated with examples.
