摘要：This study,in which a measurement of banking and finance education given at the undergraduate level in higher education institutions for determining to what extent it meets the relevant sector expectations is aimed,includes an assessment of the essential qualifications that the candidates must have in order to work in these sectors. In this context,a field research including faceto-face interviews and questionnaire surveys with the senior executives of several banks and financial institution is conducted in Niğde,Kayseri and Konya provinces. The obtained data were subjected to frequency analysis with the help of SPSS. As a result,undergraduate course content and teaching methods of the banking and finance departments are to be discussed and some suggestions are made for reconciliation of undergraduate level courses with the sector demand.
