摘要：Staff scheduling process requires special care by the responsible personnel of the university and also it is perpetual. Literature review revealed that examination scheduling problems are solved by using complex systems which requires access to database of Registrar’s Office or by pure mathematical models. Literature review also revealed that scheduling problems have not been modeled with spreadsheets. To fill this gap in the literature,this study suggests that examination scheduling problems can be modeled and also solved by spreadsheets of Microsoft Excel™. A spreadsheet is modeled using the actual data belong to Kilis 7 Aralik University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences,2014-2015 Spring midterm exams. Then the model is solved by Solver Toolbox. The results indicate that scheduling by spreadsheet produced objective and faster results.
