摘要：The crisis revealed in banking sector in November 2000 and February 2001 made it unavoidable to restructure the sector. Particularly,improvement of financial performances of public banks and rehabilitation of the private banks having negative effects onto the sector constitute the fundamental point of reorganizations. The purpose of this work is to analyze the efficiency of the adjustments carried into effect in 2001. In this direction,performance analysis of 10 years of banking sector before and after the year of 2001 was carried out with Grey Relational Analysis method. It was determined as a result of the analysis that public banks climbed at the top from the lower ranks by achieving a serious success thanks to reorganizations. It is concluded that almost all of the banks transferring to fund were made over to fund as a result of bad course of events in terms of financial performance. In conclusion,it was observed in this study that reorganizations in banking sector after crisis reached to their purposes and provided critical positive contributions to the sector.
