摘要:From XIIth century Anatolian principalities have been in close relationship with Zengids and Ayyubid, then with the Mamluks.This relationship has led the architectural elements and motifs, seen in the lands they ruled, to infiltrate in Anatolian architecture.It is possible to see these “Southern influences”, in some architectural elements, motifs and compositions used in the decoration of Gaziantep mosques, dated between XIII-XVIII centuries.
