  • 摘要:Purpose:The purpose of this study is to investigate sustained attention skills of hearing impaired who actively do exercise and not with regard to some variables. Method: Children between 12-17 ages,in total 101 hearing-impaired ( 43 of them do exercise, and 58 don’t do exercise) participated in research. Personal information form developed by researcher and Burdon Attention Test of Benjamin Burdon (1955) which is used in determining attention skills of participants were used. RESULTS: In statistical analysis of research Cruscall Wallis H test,Mann Whitney U tests were used and significance level was determined as p<0,05. SPSS 18 package programme was used in research. Results: As a result of study,it was determined that attention levels of hearing-impaired children who don’t do exercise Show a statistically significant difference (p<0,05) according to age groups and hearing-aid use status. On the other hand hearing-impaired children who don’t do exercise did not show any statistically significant difference (p>0,05) in attention levels according to hearing aid use status. It was determined that in hearing-impaired individuals who do exercise;there was a statistically significant difference (p<0.05) in attention levels. On the other hand it was determined that attention levels of hearingimpaired children who do exercise did not show statistically significant difference according to age groups, the causes of emerging hearing-impair,the use of hearing aid (p>0.05). Consequently it can be suggested that hearing-impaired children who do exercise have more attention levels according to hearing-impaired children who don’t do exercise.
