摘要：The aim of this study is to define the euro fit test levels of those children,at the ages of 8 and 9,who attended or did not attend to the table tennis course. METHOD: The sample group of study has 28 children divided into two groups. The first group has 14 children (seven boys 7 girls) who are course participants and the second group has also 14 children (7 girls 7 boys) who are non-participants. The height average of course participants is 131 ±92 cm,and the weight average of them is 27±42 kg. The height average of non participants is 134±10 cm,and the weight average of them is 31±27 kg. The participants has practiced for 6 months twice in per a week for two hours. At the end of practice period,both of the groups have been applied eurofit test battery. Their height,weight,and body mass indexes have also been measured. For statistical analyzes,t- test has been applied in order to search the significance at the level of p<0.01);and significant differences for BMI values (p<0.05) have been observed. There have been found no differences between the participants and non participants for their physical parameters,heights,and weights. There have been found no differences between two groups also for their flamingo balance,touching to the discs,paw power,10*5 shuttle run and hanging tests with twisted arm. When the groups are compared according to their genders,no difference there have been found between them. RESULTS: As a result,it is thought that applying the study to much more participants within the different sport areas provides much better results. Euro fit batteries might contribute us to divert the children to the sport at the right time.
