摘要:Subjective vitality,which is considered as one of the contributions of participation in physical activity,examined in this study on student teachers. Because teachers,who are an important part of the education system,are healthy and fit,they will be successful in building future generations Material and Methods: A sample of 288 third and fourth grade student teachers (132 women,156 men-age: 22.16 ± 2.68) at Karadeniz Technical University were evaluated in 2015-2016 academic year. Childhood and adolescence physical activity experience form,Subjective vitality form and Personal information form were administered to all participants. Results: The research findings show that there were positive and significant relationships on subjective vitality who do licensed sports to compared others and physical education teachers to compare others (p<0,01). There was also positive (low levels) and significant relationship between subjective vitality and physical activity experience of student teachers (r= .23;p<0.01). However,there were no significant relationships on subjective vitality according to gender. Conclusions: The research results support other studies that reveal social and psychological supports the contributions of participation in physical activity. Therefore,it can be say that the participation of physical activity has positive effect on subjective vitality for student teachers.
