  • 摘要:Plantar pressure is defined as the pressure on the plantar surface on the foot that the human foot experiences during activities. Anatomical differences in foot,including abnormal arch structure,increase the risk of lower extremity overuse injuries. Athletes with both pes cavus and pes planus may be at increased risk of lower extremity injury compared to athletes with pes rectus. While pedobarography has become popular to evaluate plantar pressure and foot structure,the relationship between foot arch index (AI) and foot plantar pressure values on athletes that have long time experience remains unstudied. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to explore the relationships among arch index values among athletes with pes cavus,pes rectus,pes planus,and foot plantar pressure values during walking. METHOD: The experimental group was composed of 86 subjects (n=46 males,n=40 females;21.96±3.24 years;170.72±6.89 cm;62.48±11.05 kg;BMI= 22.50±2.78 kg/m2). Foot plantar pressure assessment during barefoot walking was implemented using the EMED-XL (Novel GmbH,Munich,Germany) plantar pressure analysis system. The foot was automatically divided into 3 areas: hind foot,midfoot,forefoot and total foot. From each of the observed parts of foot,the following parameters were evaluated: Force Time Integral (FTI),Peak Force (PF),Peak Pressure (PP),Pressure Time Integral (PTI),Contact Time (CT),Contact Area (CA),and Maximum Force Normalized to Body Weight (MFBW%). One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was performed to examine the differences between arch groups with repect to foot arch indices. The relationship between the foot arch indices and plantar pressure variables on different regions under the foot during walking were explored using Pearson correlation coefficients. RESULTS: Athletes with pes cavus demonstrated increased PP in the hindfoot and forefoot,and MF (% BW),PTI in the forefoot,MF,MF (% BW) in the hindfoot while walking compared to other groups (p<0.05). Athletes with pes planus demonstrated increased PP in the hindfoot and forefoot,and MF (% BW),PTI in the forefoot,MF in the hindfoot while walking compared to other groups (p<0.05). The statistical analyses for midfoot showed that pes planus feet have greater FTI,MF,CA,MF (BW%) and PTI values than pes cavus and pes rectus feet (p<0.05). Arch index values were positively associated with CA and MF (BW %) and negatively associated with PTI among athletes with pes planus in total foot. There was positive significant relationship between arch index values and FTI,MF,CA,MF (BW %) among athletes with pes cavus in total foot. High and low arch structures are high risk factors on lower extremities and reduce athletic performance;therefore,coaches,athletic trainers and foot manufacturers should consider arch indices differences among athletes.
