摘要：The aim of this study is the verification of the characteristics of a morphological structure of karate athletes. METHODS: The sample of entities: The sample of this study includes 104 male students,aged 15 - 16 (± 6 months) that have taken up karate lessons in Tetovo,Gostivar and Skopje,apart from their regular physical activities in the schools where they attend their lessons. The sample of variables: the assessment of the morphological characteristics has been performed based on anthropometric variables,4 variables have been put in use for the assessment of the longitudinal dimension of the skeleton,2 variables have been used for the transversal dimensionality and the body mass. RESULTS: The results show that the arithmetic avareges of the morphological variables are in accordance with the results of the corresponding age. The Skewnes and Kurtosis parameters also confirm that these variables have a normal distribution,thus we can certainly claim that there is no deviation from the normal distribution of the morpholigical variables. According to the Pearson correlation,significant statistical correlations of the morphological variables have been confirmed. Coherences among variables that serve as indicator of same body dimensions have been realized,mainly in level .05. Based on the factor analysis,thre latent factors have been obtained: 1) the dimensional sceletal factor and body mass;2) the factor of chest width and the lenght of legs;3) the factor of the lenght of the arm.
