摘要：The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between confession peculiarities of juvenile offenders and their motivation to commit offences. The Gudjonsson Confession Questionnaire – Revised (GCQ-R) and the Offending Motivation Questionnaire were administered to 83 male youth (age group 14-20 years) who had been on probation and parole at the time of the research. The results show that external and internal pressure to confess were significantly correlated. Every motivation factor (with the exception of financial) was associated with the reporting of external pressure. Also,provocation was positively related to all confession factors. The results revealed no significant differences between different age and nationality groups.
