摘要:Intermittent high-intensity endurance (Yo-Yo Intermittent recovery test, level 1(Yo-Yo IR1) and the ability to repeatedly sprint within relatively short time intervals (RSA) are deemed relevant fitness prerequisites in competitive soccer players (Chaouachı at al.,2010). The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between repeted siprint and intermıttent endurance. METHODS: In the age 14-16 36 elite young players (Age: 14.58 ± 0.49 years, height: 174.02 ± 7.47 cm,body weight: 59.69 ± 9.50 kg,training age: 7.39 ± 0.62 years) voluntarily participated in this study. Soccer team were assessed for RSA (7x35m with 30-second recovery) using photocell getes (Smartspeed,Fusion Sport Pty Queensland,Australia;accuracy of 0.01 seconds). İntermıttent endurance was diagnosed with Yo-Yo IR1. Relationships of intermittent endurance with repeted sprint parameters were analyzed with pearson correlation coefficient probability level was ≤0.05. Results & Discussion According to result of the study, there was no statistically relationship between Yo-Yo IR1 of total sprint time (r=-272,p>0,05),and mean sprin time (r=- 162,p>0,05). However there was a significant correlation between,Yo-Yo IR1 and decrement time of repeated sprint test (r=-414,p<0,05). CONCLUSION: As a results intermıttent endurance is correlated with decrement time of repeted sprint. Intermittent high-intensity endurance is poorly associated with RSA performance Consequently, coaches and strength and conditioning professionals should consider both Yo-Yo IR1 and RSA in their testing batteries.
