摘要：Given the fact that tourism is a positive option for economic development,international financial institutions have incorporated this kind of service among their main priorities.When carrying out a development strategy based on tourism,the opportunities that this sector offers must be taken into account,as well as the associated risks and threats.Because tourism is seen as a tool for economic growth and poverty alleviation,different entities want to finance projects that seek to achieve these objectives.According to the actors involved in these projects international cooperation takes different forms (multilateral,bilateral,governmental and business related).Multilateral entities activity is focused on global development finance,financial stability,financial cooperation and regional development.These aspects form a network that can influence,positively or negatively,the development of the economies.
