摘要:Although numerous studues have shown that cadmum dnsturbs the normal biologea processes In central nervous system the mechanism of toxrerty Is not well understood The present study has invesngated the effect of cadmum on oxldaive stress,Nu*/K" ATPase activly and the aggregaion of amyloud beta peptide (β- amylod) In neuronal cell lIne. HT22 cell LCs dand LCo of cadmum for HT22 cell resulted from MTT assay was4 1 μM and 9 5 uIM,respecluvely Cadmum(2 to 8 μM) dose -dependently Imcreased the lupud peroxdation and decreased the content of glutathione Cadmum 4 μM showed a signfican decrease 1In Na /K+ ATPase achvnty as compared wath control group The aggregtion ol β- dmylond was accelerated In a dose -dependent munner by the lreatment wilth 2 to 8 μM cadmum These results suggert that the neuroloxucity of c sdmum L.dn be meduated by the increase in oxdative stress and decreave In Na /K ! ATPase activity.
