摘要：Thus study was designed to investgale potentual endocrne disrupting effects of sevet al Industrial wastewater effluents discharged from cosmetc,plaiting,parnt,textle Industry using EROD bioassay and E - Screen assay The results of E- screen assay showed that textle Industrial wastewater could act a9 a full dgontst and cosmetics and platng .ndustrial wastewaten could act as a partial agonist On the contrary,the wastewater duscharged trom pant Industry did not show any estrogentc effect Estrogentc activity In the effluents of cosmetic and paunt industral wastewater was lower than that In the Influents 1ndicating lhat the wastewatel theatment process mummzed the effects of dhschan ges on water qualty Desplte of these results,It was recogn1- zed that wastewate1 treatment was not always m1nmize toxic 1mpact In this study,Increased estrogenc effect was obseived In the effluents of platng and textle wastew ater,and EROD activity was Increased 11 the effluents of cosmetic and plating wastewater.
