摘要：La investigación se realizó para determinar prácticas de los cuidados en el hogar a pacientes con diagnóstico de epilepsia; la incidencia de este problema de salud puede reducirse proporcionando conocimientos básicos sobre el tema. Se realizó una investigación explicativa cuali- cuantitativa, utilizando como técnicas de estudio la encuesta dirigida a familiares de los pacientes con diagnóstico de epilepsia, así identificando el grado de desconocimiento de la enfermedad. Al ejecutar la investigación, se demostró que el nivel de desconocimiento sobre la enfermedad es elevado, es importante resaltar que fue necesario un entrenamiento previo que da como resultado la capacidad y el conocimiento de los familiares, y sobre todo, la manera de actuar ante estas patologías, para mejorar la calidad de vida.
其他摘要：The research was carried out to determine home care practices for patients diagnosed with epilepsy; the incidence of this health problem can be reduced by providing basic knowledge on the subject. A qualitative and quantitative explanatory investigation was carried out, using the survey aimed at relatives of patients diagnosed with epilepsy as study techniques, identifying the degree of ignorance of the disease. When executing the investigation, it was shown that the level of ignorance about the disease is high, it is important to highlight that a previous training was necessary that results in the capacity and knowledge of family members and especially the way of acting in these pathologies, to improve the quality of life.
