摘要:The lists of typographical errors (published at the end of the books) - already present in the early incunabula - underwent several changes over time. In the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries they assumed a precise and recognizable physiogno-my. These numerous errors were often attributed to the incompetence of typographic composers, but in reality they hid wider problems, such as, for example, a linguistic difference between the various authors of the book (authors, composers, editors, printers, etc.). The present essay offers some examples of errata between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries to demonstrate how the reader, in addition to the role of the purchaser, must also have the fundamental role of the prudent and critical reader of the work.
