其他摘要:In Mexico, as in other countries of the world, Social Pedagogy is an emerging discipline, since it is not yet part of the university academic field, nor is there a professionalization in this branch of knowledge. However, it is possible to find socio-educational experiences that have taken place in Mexico. This article’s aim is to present an analysis of the history of education from the nineteenth century to the present, it identifies five national projects whose objectives are related to the aims of Social Pedagogy. This analysis allows us to identify that Social Pedagogy has important antecedents in Mexico; therefore, it is relevant that this discipline be part of the universities bachelor programs in order to respond to the great social and educational demands of the country.
