摘要：El proyecto «Penélope» de la artista visual Marcela Cernadas supone una investigación artística, a lo largo de una década, sobre la heroína tejedora por excelencia. Por medio de diversos formatos contemporáneos como el vídeo, la fotografía, la instalación y la performance va urdiendo nuevos significados en la trama. El personaje habita un tejido en el que dejarán su impronta los elementos de la naturaleza. La obra trasciende de su propia materialidad y se relaciona con el espectador en el espacio (un lugar en Venecia) y en el tiempo (una estación del año), construyendo un imaginario cultural de ese nuevo espacio expresivo. Ya nunca volveremos a ver la misma Penélope ni los mismos lugares. El arte podrá ser efímero pero la trama y la urdimbre continúan en el telar de nuestra vida.
其他摘要：The «Penelope» project by the visual artist Marcela Cernadas is an artistic investigation, over a decade, about the quintessential weaving heroine. Through different contemporary formats such as video, photography, installation and performance, new meanings are being created in the weft. The character inhabits a tissue in which the elements of nature will be imprinted. The work transcends its own materiality and relates to the viewer in space (a place in Venice) and in time (a season of the year), constructing a cultural imaginary of that new expressive space. We will never see the same Penelope or the same places. Art may be ephemeral but the weft and the warp continue in the loom of our life.
