摘要:In this paper, we present and analyze a proposal for a didactic intervention involving the genre, developed in high school classes integrated to technical professional education, in the discipline Portuguese Language and Literature. As theoretical foundation, we based essentially on contributions from language teaching, to support the development and presentation of the didactic intervention proposal, and Sociodiscursive Interactionism, to describe the language capacities mobilized by the students in the production of abstracts, the empirical products of this process. The analyses point out that it is legitimate and pertinent to study genres of the academic sphere, such as the abstract, in high school; and that the students apprehend and mobilize, in the writing of the genre, its characteristics. Therefore, the high school technical-professional education is presented as a context of teaching and learning of genres of the academic sphere.
