摘要:This paper presents some reflections on the genre-based approach and the development of the phonological awareness in the process of acquisition of reading and writing, and describes a proposal of activities with the genre tongue-twister for students in process of reading and writing instruction. It is action research based on the perspective of the necessary relationship between the two dimensions of literacy, in which the aim is to develop the reading and writing skills considering the social uses of language while promoting the appropriation of the alphabetical writing system.
