摘要:We will discuss about the differences between normative and natural grammar with two aims: (a) to emphasize the impossibility of the normative grammar being the unique parameter to correct the student’s productions; (b) to reinforce the importance of natural grammar in the texts. Some linguists study the limitations identified in the normative grammars to treat Brazilian Portuguese. In order to contribute to this discussion, we will introduce the analysis of one of the texts produced by students of a class of fifth year of a public elementary school, to whom we offered a workshop to develop reading and writing skills.
