摘要:Psychological well-being and happiness are desirable aspects in any person, but it is especially important in teacher’s case because of their impact on the holly students’ development. This well-being takes on a new nuance when the teacher must address complex issues as mourning or death. In this light, this study seeks to analyze the correlation between subjective well-being and anxiety about the death of future teachers. To do this, a mixed design has been used, using two validated instrument and some open question that have been completed by 87 Primary Education Degree’s students (n=87) in the Universidad of Málaga. The results show that the subjective well-being is high, and the death anxiety is moderate. It is further concluded that there is an inversely proportional relationship between these two issues, with higher levels of anxiety when the level of subjective well-being is lower. This reality underlines the need to introduce contents that promote the teachers’ psychological health and the pedagogy of death on their initial training.
