摘要：Esse trabalho se propõe estabelecer um paralelo entre os textos “americanos” de Montaigne (“Dos canibais” e “Dos coches”) e o capítulo oitavo do Da verdade da religião cristã de Du Plessis-Mornay, intitulado “De quando o mundo teve seu começo”. A partir dessa comparação, buscaremos elementos que indiquem a presença do contexto bíblico e da história sagrada nas entrelinhas do texto dos Ensaios, mas também sua conexão com o continente americano.
其他摘要：This work proposes to establish a parallel between Montaigne’s “American”texts (“Dos Canibais” and “Dos Coches”) and the eighth chapter of The Truth of theChristian Religion of Du Plessis-Mornay, entitled “From when the world had itsbeginning”. From this comparison, we will seek in these chapters of the Essays theelements that indicate the presence of the biblical context and the sacred historyin the lines between the text, but also its connection with the American continent.
