摘要：Este artículo presenta las experiencias interculturales y tecnológicas adquiridas por 18 estudiantes de licenciatura durante su estancia académica internacional en la Universidad Veracruzana, cuando fueron sorprendidos en marzo de 2020 por la pandemia del Covid-19. El exhorto del gobierno federal mexicano para que las instituciones educativas adoptaran la medida de distanciamiento social como acción principal para detener el contagio resultó en suspensión de clases, asesorías, tutorías y todo tipo de reuniones académicas. El plan de contingencia de la Universidad privilegió el cuidado de la comunidad mediante la continuación de las actividades académicas desde casa a través de medios digitales. Desde el inicio del confinamiento, hasta el final del semestre, el 17 de julio de 2020, todas las actividades se dieron en plataformas digitales modificando la experiencia que esperaban los estudiantes de movilidad. Se concluye con la sugerencia de recuperar la internacionalización educativa desde casa, como alternativa y complemento de la movilidad académica inmersiva.
其他摘要：This paper presents the intercultural and technological experiences of 18 bachelor students during their international academic stay at the University of Veracruz when the coronavirus pandemic started. The Mexican federal government urged educational institutions to adopt social distancing measures as the main action to stop the spread of the virus, which resulted in a lockdown and the cancellation of all gatherings, including classes, tutoring, and academic meetings. The University of Veracruz timely reacted with a contingency plan with the health of the community as a target: the students had to keep up with their activities from houses throughout digital media. From the beginning of the lockdown until the end of the semester on July 17th, 2020, practically all academic work was held in digital platforms and spaces, altering the immersive experience mobility students were expecting. It concludes with the suggestion of re-establishing the educational internationalization from home as an alternative and complement of the immersive academic mobility.
