摘要：El Ejército Popular Revolucionario (EPR) es un movimiento guerrillero que hizo su aparición pública el 28 de junio de 1996, en el vado de Aguas Blancas Guerrero, México. Desde sus inicios hasta el año 2011, la operatividad del movimiento ha sido un proceso inconstante, en el que es posible vislumbrar momentos de alta actividad político-militar, y otros periodos de inmovilidad. Este documento analiza la inconstancia que ha mostrado el EPR política y militarmente durante el trayecto de lucha revolucionaria. Partimos de la premisa de situar el accionar eperrista en dos momentos clave: el primero, arranca de 1994 a 1998; y el segundo, de 2000 a 2011.

Political Career and Military Strategy, 1994 – 2011 The Popular Revolutionary Army (EPR) is a guerrilla movement that made its public appearance on June 28th, 1996, in Aguas Blancas, Guerrero, Mexico. Since its inception until 2011, the operation of the movement has been a variable process, in which different moments of high political and military activity are possible to glimpse, followed by intervals of time of immobility. This article examines the variability shown in the political and military aspects of the EPR, during the course of its revolutionary struggle. Since our opinion the EPR’s actions have had two key moments: the first comprising from 1994 to 1998 and the second, from 2000 to 2011.
