摘要：Neste artigo, a partir de uma discussão sobre ruralidades e juventudes, refletimos sobre como levar os conhecimentos sociológicos de forma significativa e contextualizada aos jovens oriundos da zona rural. Partimos de duas pesquisas qualitativas distintas realizadas em municípios do Ceará. No primeiro caso, os jovens estão imersos no meio rural e no segundo, os jovens transitam diariamente entre o rural e o urbano, o que confere um sentido diferenciado à experiência do ensino médio. A partir das duas experiências, constatou-se que os jovens do meio rural possuem formas particulares de viver a condição juvenil e enquanto alunos carecem de atividades, saberes e tempos que em outro contexto não sentiriam necessidade. Suas experiências sociais e individuais alicerçam campos de significação que interferem diretamente na recepção de novos conhecimentos. Desse modo, os conteúdos sociológicos trabalhados em sala de aula podem inutilizar-se pela ausência de aproximação com o universo que os cerca.
其他摘要：In this article, from a discussion on ruralities and youths, we reflect on the need to knowing rural youth to bring them sociological knowledge in a meaningful and contextualized way. We started from two different qualitative research carried out in municipalities in Ceará. In the first case, the young people are immersed in rural areas. In the second one, the young people move daily between rural and urban, which gives a different meaning to the high school experience. From the two experiences, it was found that young people from rural areas have particular ways of living the youth condition and while students lack activities, knowledge and times, which they would not feel the need in another context. Their social and individual experiences support fields of meaning that directly interfere with the reception of new knowledge. In this way, the sociological contents worked on in the classroom can be rendered useless by the absence of significant approximation with the universe that surrounds them.
