摘要：Public-private partnerships have been an alternative for expanding and making investments in infrastructure projects in Brazil possible since 2004, when they were regulated. The paper considers in the analysis the absorption structure of Civil Construction and assesses the probable economic effects of the implementation of PPPs in Minas Gerais until the year 2015, using an inter-regional input-product matrix. The projections indicate an increase of R $ 11.90 billion in GDP and 351 thousand jobs in Brazil. PPP’s also indicate an increase in tax revenue that represents about 28% of the resources spent.
