  • 摘要:This study aimed to evaluate occupational stress and coping strategies in teachers of Inclusive Education. The participants were 15 Mozambican teachers, who work in an Inclusive Educational Resources Center in the province of Nampula. The data were collected through a mixed questionnaire, which included professional and sociodemographic data, the Lipp Inventary of Stress Symptoms for Adults and some open-ended questions. The categorical content analysis showed that teachers perceived their work as stressful. The stress symptomatology was mainly physical. The main source of stress for the teachers was of situational nature. To face the stressful situations at work, the teachers fundamentally resort to palliative strategies. It’s suggested to change the stressful labor environment and teacher’s education and training in coping strategies.
