摘要：The article describes an experimental research of adolescents’ role identity. Main structural components of role identity are analyzed – role depth, role flexibility, locus of role conflict - their connection to personal and social characteristics of adolescent development is identified. Data is cited which illustrates the specifics of inner role conflict origination among adolescents. A hypothesis is made that role conflict at this age is based on position-role contradictions. A conclusion is made on the basis of analysis of empiric material that role identity can be rightfully viewed as an integral characteristic of social situation of adolescent’s development.
