摘要：La presente investigación se realizó debido a los insuficientes estudios generalizadores sobre los Estados que pertenecen al Caribe insular. Es por ello, que el presente material tuvo como objetivo: analizar desde el punto de vista general las características económicas, políticas, sociales y medioambientales de los países pertenecientes a la cuenca insular del Caribe. Para ello se utilizaron métodos de la investigación científica. Como principales resultados, se corroboró que el Caribe se desarrolla en el siglo XXI sobre la base de la integración regional y subregional, lo que ha impactado notablemente en el desarrollo de la actividad turística, la más dinámica en la región, incitando la búsqueda de alternativas que contribuyan a desarrollarla sosteniblemente ante los embates del calentamiento global.
其他摘要：The present investigation was carried out due to insufficient generalizing studies on the States that belong to the insular Caribbean. That is why the purpose of this material was to: analyze from a general point of view the economic, political, social, and environmental characteristics of the countries belonging to the Caribbean island basin. For this, scientific research methods were used. As main results, it was confirmed that the Caribbean develops in the 21st century on the basis of regional and subregional integration, which has had a notable impact on the development of tourism activity, the most dynamic in the region, prompting the search for alternatives that contribute to developing it sustainably in the face of global warming.
