摘要：The purpose of this article is to analyze available data from publications on websites and virtual catalogs of Brazilian publishers and/or legal bookstores. The indicators were constituted from the process of selection and acquisition of Brazilian legal books carried out by the librarian team of the Marcos Juruena Villela Souto Library, of the Attorney General of the State of Rio de Janeiro. The data provision of the publications by publishers and bookstores on the websites increased the knowledge of the titles that are available in the market, generating subsidies for their evaluation. However, there should still be improvements to these features since suppression or inaccuracy of data can lead to a misplaced purchase.
