摘要：The Slovak Environment Agency (SEA) fulfills its main tasks in the field of environmental care and landscape creation in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. Its initiation was preceded on the 25th of August 1992 by transformation of the Slovak Commission for the Environment which was established as a central state administration body by Act No. 96/1990 Coll. of the1st of July 1990. This Commission was transformed into the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic by Act No. 453/1992 Coll.. The Slovak Environment Agency was then established by the Environment Minister on the 17th of May 1993 as the only cross-sectional professional organisation with nationwide competence. The SEA celebrates its 27th anniversary this year and it continues to guarantee its environmental approach and the quality of its services by certificates of appropriate environmental management and quality in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
