摘要：During more than 20-years of its existence, DAPHNE – Institute of Applied Ecology, has prepared or participated in preparation of approximately 100 different publications including scientific publications, specialized publications for nature conservation, monographs, handbooks, brochures, leaflets and maps; and not least, puzzles and colouring books for aspiring ecologists. The target groups include politicians, nature conservation professionals, farmers, foresters, tourists, nature visitors, teachers and, students. The most important scientific publications include catalogues of habitat types, guidelines on habitat management,and results of habitat and species inventories, research and monitoring and different employed methodologies. In addition, many publications prepared by DAPHNE are aimed at education and training in ecology and environmental science. For example, handbooks for teachers cover a wide range of different topics, habitats and geographical regions, including; – forests, grasslands,wetlands, peatlands, biodiversity, ecological connectivity and the Carpathians. Finally, in 2014 DAPHNE had its first book of fantasy stories published – and this will provide great support for its ongoing educational programme.
