摘要：The concept of the territorial systems of ecological stability (TSES) – ecological networks – is aimed at the progressive transition from the black and white division of the country to the protected and unprotected parts, to an all area diffrentiated system preserving ecologically convenient landscape structure with diffrent ways of use. Hence, the aim of the proposed nature infrastructure and mitigation of the negative effcts of its barriers is conservation and support to biodiversity and diversity of Slovakia’s landscape and provision for their benefiial effcts on the surrounding ecologically less stable parts of the country, support to variants of multifunctional land use with the aim to protect individual components of the environment, conservation of important landscape elements and specifiation of barriers and mitigation of their negative effct on individual positive landscape elements. The basic goal of the paper is to present concept and methodology of the territorial system of ecological stability and its application on the study area Banská Štiavnica district.
