摘要:The dispersed settlements are historical development forms of the Slovak rural country from 16th century as secondary resettling process. Agriculture was a main type of economic activity in the past and it dominates till present especially in forms of animal breeding, grassland management, and crop cultivation – including horticulture and partly also viticulture. Those traditional land use forms passed during historical time over changes connected with social economy, ownership, collectivisation, emigration and agriculture policy processing. Many dispersed settlements are abandoned and/or over grown by woody vegetation in process of the natural succession, where typical houses and landscape structure marks have been disappeared. On the other hand the old rural houses and country land started to be used in new form during last 50 years. To that progressive approach belong cottage form recreation, construction the new agrotourist centres as complex ranch, with wide form of services as are special gastronomy, company events, horse back riding, cross country skiing, education trails and other. Many professions in gardening and nature science are contributing to old orchards revitalisation regarding to rare historical gene pool and well-protection of folk architecture.
