摘要:The soil diversity as a part of geodiversity represents an important condition of the biodiversity, because diversity of soils creates the variety of edaphic and hydric stand conditions. Synthetic soilscape map combines the soil cover with some other landscape aspects. The map is based on present soil mapping at a scale 1 : 50 000 and soil associations map at a scale 1 : 500 000 and on assessment of interrelated biotic and abiotic pedogenetic factors – parent rock, climate, relief and vegetation. Effect of human-related activities on soils is evaluated by means of land use and anthropogenic degradation aspects of landscape. Complete legend of the map includes 26 mapping units. The principle of creating soil-cultural units is an interconnection of soil associations with landscape and socioeconomic categories. Soil is a carrier information whose higher level typology reflects in the name of map units. These units can be characterized as areas: (1) with genetically similar soils – uniform effect of pedogenesis on relatively homogenous parent materials, which correspond to reference soil units; (2) with a comparable potential of natural fertility (according to agricultural quality); (3) with a similar relief position, which is decisive for the dynamics of relief – and soil-forming processes; (4) with a similar land use pattern; (5) with identical anthropogenic transformation of surface due to urbanisation, extraction of minerals, building of ponds, etc.
