摘要：Historical structures of agricultural landscape represent a mosaic of small-scale arable fields and permanent agricultural cultivations (grasslands, vineyards, fruit and chestnut orchards) and non-forest vegetation. Evaluation of diversity of vascular plants belonged to the main objectives of the project Research and maintaining of biodiversity in historical structures of agricultural landscape of Slovakia (2009 – 2011), all research activities of project led to the elaboration of the Strategy aimed at conservation and management of historical structures of agricultural landscape. Three pilot areas were chosen for in depth research – cadastres of the Svätý Jur, Hriňová towns and Liptovská Teplička village. Research covering abiotic, biotic and socioeconomic components of historical structures took significant part of the project. 326 taxa of vascular plants determined in 57 phytosociological relevés covering representative historical structures including 10 threatened and protected taxa in the cadastre of the Svätý Jur town. Results show high importance of the agricultural landscape especially historical structures for diversity of vascular plants and function as refuges for threatened and protected species.
