摘要：The idea of the study of landscape ecology was born in the beginning of global landscape ecology research. In Slovakia it is connected with the formation of the Department of Biology and Creation of Landscape in the Institute of Biology SAS in Bratislava (1961) and later Institute of Landscape Biology SAS (1965). Many specialists in the field of landscape and its use began to use theoretical and methodical bases. Kind of renaissance of the study of landscape structure as an independent research object came after the year 2000, when the questions of landscape changes and development began to solve in certain areas on the basis of historical, secondary and present landscape structure.
