摘要：Recently the care after streams resulted in elaboration of methodologies applicable to research of streams with the aim of their protecting, managing and rehabilitation which also includes investigation of their morphological properties. The activities sift in river management practice is underway, marking the transition from and engineering-dominated emphasis that endeavors to control nature, towards a more inclusive ecosystem-framed approach that strives to work with nature. Whereas until now river management activities emphasize empirical solutions to site-specific or reach-scale issues, fluvial geomorphology as a part of the integrative river science tends to adopt a broader, basin-scale perspective that emphasizes the physical integrity of the drainage basin and close links between catchment and river dynamics. Principles from fluvial geomorphology provide a physical template with which to ground river landscape perspectives that underpin the ecological integrity as well as flood responses and river health.
