摘要：The contribution deals with the factors that influence a distinctive aspect of the landscape, landscape design and a landscape character. On the one hand we need established terms, on the other their clear meanings in designation of landscape features. In defining its landscape-aesthetical relationships the visually perceived information and their rational elaboration are of primary importance. The position and uniqueness of signs creating the landscape value as well as identification of symptoms as visual disorders enable to identify the landscape values and landscape character. The final landscape quality is influenced also by the character of building, its concentration and location in the landscape. Change of landmarks can cause the disturbance of its values. Here appears the need of wider representation of landscape specialists mainly in the preparation stage of landscape development.
