摘要：Environmental management systems (EMS) have passed through dynamical development and from rapidly growing demands, trends and strategies point of view they are still the actual worldwide topic. Outgoing from development analysis and the present state of implementation of formalized EMS according to ISO 14 001 or EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) as well as less formal tools for environmental performance improvement indicate possible development trends in the environmental management. Emphasis is put on harmonization of EMS and EMAS and their support and continuous improvement through using specific less formal tools of environmental management.
